At US Traffic Control our mission is to safeguard roadways and work zones across the United States. Since our founding in 2017 by Joseph Ulm, we’ve grown into a trusted provider of temporary traffic control services, specializing in traffic planning, flagging, interstate shut downs, lane closures, detours, and crowd control operations. US Traffic Control was founded by roadway tree service workers who understood the need to protect ALL roadway workers, motorists and pedestrians.
Our History
US Traffic Control LLC was formed in Athens, GA in 2017. The Ulm family developed their own in-house traffic control services and equipment company after experiencing a lack of quality in the market during federal, state, and utility projects on both the east and west coasts.
While combating the challenges of COVID-19, US Traffic Control continues to develop new customer relationships based on our steadfast financial backing and proven quality of services. Federal Government, State Government, and Major Utility organizations praise US Traffic Control's commitments to open executive communications, efficient logistics, safety compliance, and professional demeanor on-site. Word of US Traffic Control's services reach as far as Pennsylvania, Florida, Texas, and California.
In 2025, US Traffic Control undergoes more positive growth, and doubles down on current service areas. Our team has developed strong relationships with new Vegetation Management, State DOT, Telecom Construction, and Major Utility companies in California, Mississippi, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. US Traffic Control is hard at work developing new traffic control technicians and supervisors utilizing our in-house training program. All company personnel are ATSSA certified in alignment with our strong commitment to safety protocol and compliance. Technology and equipment upgrades give our company better insight into active operations and increase the effectiveness of our emergency response procedures.
